Adult Intermediate Class
Starts First Thursday of Every Month
5:00pm – 6:00pm for 4 weeks in a row
Take your climbing skills to the next level with this intermediate adult class.
Week 1-Technique Refinement
Week 2-Route Reading and Strategy
Week 3-Dynamic Movement and Coordination
Week 4-Mental Skills and Fear Management

Intro to Climbing
Every Tuesday
5:30pm – 6:30pm
Learn the basics of climbing during this 1 hour instructor led class.
How to read a route/grade
Climbing technique
Types of holds/how to use them
Injury Prevention
Intro to strength training
$25/person, includes day pass & Gear
Top Rope/Belay Class
Every Tuesday
6:30pm – 7:30pm
Learn the fundamentals of top rope climbing including:
How to secure a harness
Tie in as a climber, tie a figure 8 knot
Complete the proper system checks
How to belay using an ATC, catch a fall and lower your climber back to the ground

Lead Climbing
Taught by appt only. Offered once per month, 6-8PM
4 hours of total instruction, split into two 2-hour sessions. 2nd session on following Thursday.
Pre-requisites to join this class:
Please ensure you know the following (if you don’t make sure you attend “Intro to Climbing” class first.
Student must have general climbing knowledge/experience.
Must know how to tie a proper figure eight follow through - Top Rope certified preferred.
Recommended 5.9 top rope climbing ability.
Learn the critical techniques to lead climb and lead belay in the gym including:

Advanced belay skills
How to take lead falls
How to catch lead falls
The process for gaining a Lead Climbing/Belay certification
